Trim off the excess paper with a craft knife or scalpel; the segment can be used straight away (the underlying paper must remain in place and serves as a bonding surface – we recommend wood glue or gel superglue).

If a curve is required, the segment can be cut along the transverse joints, leaving only a small section remaining on the inside of the curve. The rows, which are now loose, can then be fanned out and laid to form a flat curve.

If two segments are to be joined together, please ensure that the gap between them corresponds to the width of the joint.

If necessary, the joints can be filled with the joint filler provided. Sweep the dry material into the joints and remove any excess material completely from the surface. Moisten the surface with a fine mist of water – the material will harden.
