The wooden roof shingles were used wherever fired bricks were not available (or simply not yet produced).
As with the originals, the diorama offers many possibilities for miniature detailing: With sheds, old barns, cribs, huts, cottages...
It is recommended to lay the shingles on a stable base with a butt joint. That glue is very suitable for this, which allows a longer working time.
Model construction with individual creating options: representation of a roof covered or destroyed; loose spreading or stacking is also possible....
